The name Stratum derives from the Latin for "layer". In geology, a stratum is evidence of time — of pressure and patience compressed into structure. In dermatology, the same word describes the architecture of the skin: the layered scaffolding beneath everything we see on the surface.
Inspired by this double meaning, Stratum House is built on the premise that what we see on the surface is a direct reflection of what has happened beneath — and that lasting change is achieved in much the same way: in layers, over time, through structure rather than shortcuts.
